Help Us Reach Our Goal: 51 More Ratings Needed!
This week’s devlog for Buns and Poops.
v1.0.12, 13 released
Fixed issues where bunnies would disappear after being left idle for extended periods, or cluster together forming “bunny dumplings.” It took time to reproduce, but we’ve finally addressed it.

Recently, we’ve been changing the key visual with each release. Seeing them accumulate is quite endearing.
Next goal: Featured on the showcase
Downloads have stabilized since launch, so we need a new push to sustain development.
As our next step, we’ve set a goal: get Buns and Poops featured on the Godot Engine showcase.

Buns and Poops is built with Godot Engine. Being featured as a case study would boost credibility and visibility.
Of course, not every game gets featured. Godot requires quality and positive reception, with a specific requirement of 100+ positive reviews.
As of February 13, Buns and Poops has 49 reviews on itch.io. All positive, thankfully, so we need 51 more to meet the requirement.
Based on download numbers, reaching this goal is absolutely achievable if just a small fraction of players leave a rating.
We need your rating and review!
If you’ve enjoyed Buns and Poops and are reading this devlog, would you consider leaving a rating? It takes 5 seconds and 2 clicks:
- Log into itch.io and visit the Rate & Review page.

- Select a star rating (1-5), optionally write a comment, and submit.
Positive reviews not only help us qualify for the Godot Engine showcase but also increase our chances of being featured on the store and appearing higher in listings.
Your support helps sustain development. Thank you!
