Invite Favorite Bunny to Desktop
We’ve added a new Phone Call feature that lets your favorite bunny come to your desktop!

First, add your bunny’s name and profile picture to your contacts.

Then, when you make a call, your bunny comes to visit you on your desktop.

Actually, this Phone Call feature is something I’ve wanted to include in Buns and Poops ever since the very beginning.
Some bunny lovers, for various reasons, can’t keep a bunny—or can no longer be with the one they cared for.
With Buns and Poops, I want to create an app that makes anyone feel like they’re spending time at their computer with their favorite bunny.
Why I’m Holding Off on the Mobile Version?
I often get requests for a mobile version whenever I share updates on the PC version.
Seeing how much interest there is, you may wonder why I didn’t start with a mobile version. One reason has to do with this Phone Call feature.
Maintaining a mobile app takes more time and resources than you’d expect.
Just the registration fees can cost $99 per year. Developers also have to keep updating the app to follow yearly OS updates.
Buns and Poops is planned to be a one-time purchase app, and I don’t intend to include ads (at least for now).
As time goes on and sales decline, it becomes harder to keep up with the costs and resources needed—eventually leading to one thing: shutting the app down.
Many of you have probably experienced the sadness of a favorite mobile game shutting down.
In Buns and Poops, that would mean saying goodbye to your favorite bunny. After finally getting to reunite with the bunny you’ve missed so much, I don’t want anyone to go through the sadness of losing them again.
In that respect, PC apps have a much longer lifespan.
In fact, games (ja) and apps (ja) I made 20 years ago still run just fine today!
Even if Buns and Poops doesn’t do well enough, or if I burn out and can no longer maintain it, I believe it’ll still keep running just fine for at least a dozen years.
